There is no doubt that the Texas real estate market was hot in 2014 and it continues to be strong into the first few months of 2015.
Last year, the state of Texas ranked #2 in the United States for the strongest house-price growth. CoreLogic reported that the top state for home-price growth was Colorado at 8.4%, followed closely by Texas at 7.8% and New York at 7.6%.
And things do not seem to be settling down. CoreLogic is estimating a similar growth in 2015, forecasting at 4.8% gain nationwide.
