If you enjoy living in luxury, steps away from excellent shopping and fine dining, The Garden District at Southlake Town Square is the place for you. Over the years, Southlake Town Square has added over 120 high-end stores and dozens of upscale restaurants to the open-air shopping district. Nestled in the heart of Southlake, TX and within minutes of the DFW International Airport, shoppers experience a place where today’s best brands in fashion and retail meet the charm of a timeless Town Square. This week, we are featuring three new additions coming to the well-loved shopping district, including J. McLaughlin, American Threads, and the beloved Hopdoddy. Originally a small shop located in Manhattan’s Upper East Side, J. McLaughlin has successfully met the high demand of its loyal customers while consistently providing “superior design, but never a dull moment.” J. McLaughlin resonates with a traditional yet discerning client. The “J.McLaughlin look” can be described as innovatively nostalgic. The fashion impact is two-fold: world-class quality silks, sporty cottons and cashmeres alongside tongue-in-chic martini-glass embroidered Bermudas, feather minis, and statement-making hybrid prints like “Trellis Flora” and “Zebra Chain Link.” Reflecting the brand’s respect for regional individuality, each shop’s attentively-designed interior is unique, reflecting the town’s color, character and architecture.
A refreshing addition to the local shopping scene, American Threads brings West Coast style to Texas. Inside you’ll find a wide spectrum of offerings, including affordable indie fashions that celebrate your inner wild child. From vintage inspired band tees to boho chic dresses, there’s so much to love-and it’s all at an affordable price. The Georgia-based lifestyle brand is known for embracing the American spirit, by celebrating the free souls that crave music and adventure while always thriving on confidence. Even if the store isn’t your style, make sure you stop in to see their rustic and artistic displays. American Threads will be opening shop on 267 Grand Avenue, right across from the Apple store.
As for the newest restaurant coming to Southlake Town Square, the delicious Hopdoddy will be opening soon. Based in Austin, the chain specializes in freshly made craft burgers. Selections include Angus beef, Kobe beef, bison, lamb, chicken, turkey, sushi-grade tuna, and black bean. Hopdoddy also offers a selection of salads, hand-cut fries, craft beers, and creative cocktails. With fresh breads baked every morning, fresh meat ground daily, and wholesome ingredients with zero antibiotics or hormones, Hopdoddy’s fanatical focus on quality shows in every bite. The restaurant will be located at 1230 Main St, across from TruFire Kitchen and Bar.
