We are pleased to share that the pace of construction is accelerating at The Parkview Residences.
Masonry work on the north side of the building is basically complete. All that remains is minor finish work at the balcony area. The east side of the building has masonry up into the second floor on the north third of the building, and the west side of the building is three quarters of the way towards completion. Waterproofing of the south side of the building is three days from completion, at which point masonry can continue on the south side of the structure. The detail of the brick and cast stone showcases the building’s true quality and design intent. It demonstrates that we have it right, and The Parkview Residences will be a structure that continues to bring pride.
All windows have now been installed in Parkview’s main living levels. Sidelights and doors are being installed in all units from the outside of the structure. Framing is complete on floors two through four, and floor five is almost complete. Walking through the building, it’s getting easier to visualize the layout of our spacious luxury condominiums.
Parkview’s Penthouse structure has been completed, with all steel in place, green board set and waterproofed, and roof installed. The Penthouse structure is the focal entrance and exit to Parkview’s impressive rooftop amenity space, which will include two covered entertainment trellises, BBQ grilling areas, lounge seating, fire pit, and plunge pools. Pool work is about to commence, and masonry will be completed in the next few weeks.
A little less glamorous but equally important, we are moving forward with ensuring all services are set up in a timely fashion. An easement for the Gas Company is in the works, and gas will be brought to the building in the next 30 days or so. Parkview’s permanent power structure is now in place, and electrical work continues to migrate up through the building.
Mechanical ducting continues throughout, and is nearing completion on floors two and three as we continue up the structure. The building is dried in and all mechanical inspections for the first few floors have been called. The interior will then button up with insulation and drywall, bringing us one step closer to welcoming our owners to their new luxury condominiums.
