Exterior masonry work on the north side of The Parkview Residences is complete, with just some finish work remaining at the balcony areas. The northeast and west sides of the building are nearly complete as well, while waterproofing and masonry on the south side of the building has finished. We are pleased with detail of the brick and the cast stone, which shows Parkview’s true quality and design intent.
All windows have been installed, and sidelights and doors are now in place in all of the units from the outside of the structure. The Penthouse structures–which serve as the focal entrance to the rooftop amenity deck–are now finished, with all steel and outside masonry work done. Work is about to commence on the rooftop pools now that the building is fully “dried in,” and mechanical work on the roof continues with the addition of outside air ductwork now in place.
Electrical work continues to migrate up through the structure, and permanent power transformers are set. Framing and drywall is now complete on floors two through four, and floor five is under construction. Mechanical ducting continues throughout the building, and is nearing completion through the fifth floor. The generator has been placed and the trash chute from the Penthouse level down to the trash room is now complete and awaiting testing. Exhaust fans to the parking garage are almost here, and will be installed upon arrival. We are happy to share that the pace of work continues to accelerate.
